Job Summary: As an R&D Scientist, you will play a crucial role in developing innovative food products, improving existing formulations, and ensuring product safety and quality. If you have a passion for food science, a strong background in chemistry, and experience in the ingredients and flavors industry, we encourage you to apply.

· Conduct research and experiments to develop new food ingredients, additives, and flavors.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, quality assurance, and production, to create and optimize formulations.

· Utilize your expertise in fermentation processes to enhance product attributes.

· Implement preservation techniques to extend shelf life and maintain product quality.

· Investigate and apply mold inhibitors to prevent spoilage and contamination.

· Analyze raw materials, intermediates, and finished products using various laboratory techniques.

· Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.

· Document research findings, experimental procedures, and results accurately.

· Participate in sensory evaluations and consumer testing.

· Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and scientific advancements.

  • Ingredients and Flavors industry experience is essential.
  • Proficiency in fermentation processes.
  • Knowledge of preservation methods.
  • Familiarity with mold inhibitors and their applications.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

· Local candidates preferred (position not eligible for relocation).

Education/Certification/Licensing:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in R&D within the food industry.
