Job DescriptionJob Description

Tire Technician Responsibilities:

 

  • Use both languages, if possible, to adequately communicate problems and offer solutions. 
  • Talking to the customer about any issues they are experiencing.
  • Inspecting and assessing tire tread levels, wear patterns, valve quality, and overall health.
  • Recommending appropriate repair treatment or replacement of tires.
  • Providing adequate pricing for all services and receiving confirmation before providing the service. 
  • Repairing punctures and replacing faulty valves and TPMS sensor programming. 
  • Installing new tires properly.
  • Balancing tires. 
  • Conducting inventory and maintaining equipment.
  • Conducting road-side repairs.
  • Traveling to purchase/pick up used tires, pick up new tires or dump tires at the landfill. 
  • Open and close shop as needed and turn on or off all equipment and electrical components. 
  • Record sales based on staff capacity. 
  • Record quotes that need to be delivered for customers. 

Auto Mechanic Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair the mechanical and electrical components of vehicles.
  • Listening to clients to learn more about vehicle history, potential problems, and the services they would like to receive.
  • Performing test drivers, inspections, and other diagnostic tests on vehicles to identify where problems exist and determine which parts need to be repaired or replaced.
  • Completing preventative maintenance on vehicles, such as performing oil changes, flushing and replacing fluids, and replacing brakes.
  • Repairing damage to the body of the vehicle and washing and painting the vehicle’s exterior.
  • Generating timelines and estimates for repairs and discussing options with clients.
  • Inspecting internal systems and controls to ensure the vehicle is operating properly and in compliance with state regulations.
  • Maintaining accurate records relating to clients, their vehicles, parts, and service history.
  • Using shop equipment as instructed, performing regular maintenance and repairs as needed.
  • Engaging in learning opportunities to update job knowledge and technical skills.

 

SALES ASSOCIATE (20%)

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Handling complaints and negotiations, but mostly redirecting the to upper management. 
  • Greeting customers, responding to questions, improving engagement with merchandise and providing outstanding customer service.
  • Operating cash registers, managing financial transactions, and balancing drawers, if amsupprt 
  • Achieving established goals.
  • Directing customers to merchandise within the store.
  • Increasing in store sales.
