Job DescriptionJob DescriptionA Manufacturer in Murphysboro, IL is hiring a Staff Accountant. $55K-65K salary depending on experience.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Assist with monthly & annual financial close
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly
  • Assist with accounts receivable tasks including cash posting, collection, etc.
  • Assist with the annual audit as needed
  • Auditing expense reports
  • Assist with set up of AP automation initiatives
  • Other responsibilities as needed
  • Adhere to established company values, practices, policies and procedures always. Follow and support compliance with all applicable safety rules, laws, regulations, and standards.

Education / Experience / Certifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required
  • 2+ years of related work experience in manufacturing preferred
  • Workflow implementation/experience preferred
  • ERP experience
  • Expensify experience preferred
