We are seeking a Training Manager to join our team in Asheville, NC. The training manager is responsible for training and development of hourly employees and work teams. This position is a crucial role to production and will oversee 3 Training Coordinators.
Responsibilities
- Develop, perform and maintain annual operator competency review.
- Establish SOPs and new work instructions and perform periodic survey of employees to ensure compliance.
- Establish program and coordinate new/transfer employee training.
- Ongoing critique of existing techniques, habits and procedures and provision of training when change is required.
- Maintain training database for all training of hourly personnel.
- Ensure training program adheres to ISO 9001 requirements.
- Report KPI’s for Colback and Enkamat areas.
- Fill in as needed in Colback and Enkamat area, to develop understanding of all areas of the plant.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related field, or currently pursuing one
- 5+ years in a workforce training or development position
- Past leadership experience managing direct reports
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred
