Job Description: We are seeking a diligent Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting repairs, troubleshooting issues, and executing preventative maintenance tasks to uphold and enhance the operational efficiency, quality, and aesthetic appeal of our properties. From unit turnovers to plumbing, electrical work, and carpentry, the Maintenance Technician will be instrumental in maintaining the integrity of our buildings and systems throughout the site.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute a diverse range of repair tasks efficiently and promptly
  • Procure and deliver supplies as required
  • Conduct routine maintenance activities using specialized tools
  • Renovate units per schedule, including cabinetry and appliance installations
  • Communicate health and safety concerns promptly to the management team
  • Complete work orders related to physical maintenance and repairs
  • Inspect subcontractor work and document performance and quality
  • Collaborate with the Property Manager to implement a preventative maintenance plan
  • Uphold safety standards, codes of conduct, and best practices

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of related work experience and/or technical training
  • High school graduate or GED required
  • Proficiency in basic maintenance tasks
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to work on-call and overtime as needed
  • Basic computer literacy and willingness to learn new software
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks efficiently and safely

Schedule:

  • 8-hour shifts, day shift, Monday to Friday
  • On-call availability, potential weekend work

Salary:

  • $45,000.00 per year
