A leading and rapidly growing manufacturer of aerospace parts located in beautiful Simi Valley, CA, is seeking talented CNC Machinists to join our dynamic team. If you're passionate about precision manufacturing and eager to work in a thriving environment, we want to hear from you

Location: Simi Valley, CA
Pay: $22 - $30 per hour, DOE

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate CNC Lathes and Mills: Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts and components according to specifications.
  • Programming and Setup: Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to program CNC machines for new projects and setups.
  • Perform Deburring: Remove burrs and sharp edges from machined parts to ensure a smooth finish and meet quality standards.
  • Tool Making and Maintenance: Create, maintain, and repair tools and fixtures used in the machining process.
  • Honing and Grinding: Use honing and grinding techniques to achieve the required surface finish and dimensional accuracy on parts.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections of machined parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure adherence to specifications and tolerances.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall quality.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues with CNC machines and tooling to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe and clean work environment.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 3-5 years of experience in metal manufacturing
  • Industrial experience; aerospace experience is highly desirable
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellence
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
  • Proficiency with precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
