We are seeking a skilled and reliable Property Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various maintenance tasks to ensure our units are in top condition for new tenants. This includes but is not limited to painting, drywall repair, electrical work, plumbing, and HVAC maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare units for new tenants, ensuring they are move-in ready.
  • Perform general maintenance tasks including painting, drywall repair, and basic carpentry.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical and plumbing issues.
  • Conduct routine HVAC maintenance and repairs (certification preferred but not required).
  • Respond to maintenance requests from tenants in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation, providing emergency maintenance support one week every six weeks.
  • Use and maintain basic tools required for various maintenance tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in property maintenance, including painting, drywall, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
  • HVAC certification preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic tools required.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
  • Some overtime available.
  • On-call rotation: one week every six weeks.

Compensation:

  • Pay range: $16 - $25 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
