Vice Principal/DayCare Director

The Vice Principal will fall under a dual role. They will oversee the daycare operations/growth and also take on administrative tasks of the school. The person for this role will need to work well with others in a fast-paced environment. Seek to grow the school and daycare through promotion/retention. They will work closely with the school administrator to cast a vision for the school and daycare and work together to achieve that vision. QUALIFICATIONS Academic/experience • 4 Year degree related to education or early childhood development • 2 years of teaching experience (minimum) • Preferred experience working in a daycare setting • Proficient with technology, including familiarity with school and financial management software Character • Demonstrate a genuine love for the Lord and others. • Abstains from gossip/rumors and instead uplifts/promotes colleagues and the school • A passion for working with children. • Great communication skills, written, and verbal. RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversee/coordinate all components of the Daycare (35%) • This includes but is not limited to o Scheduling of both children and employees o Track attendance and provide timely reports to the Administrator and/or Board o Communicate with families and keep student information current o Oversee daycare staff and staff needs o Send out statements and follow up with families o Assist with daycare tours and communication with prospective families o Conduct daycare staff meetings and special celebrations o Follow all PA State requirements for a daycare, including two annual inspections Assist the Administrator (65%) • This includes but is not limited to o Lead prayer time each morning for staff and teachers o Assist in discipline for students o Assist in teaching when a sub cannot be found o Lead school tours and follow up with prospective families o Seek grants or donors to help the school o Coordinate with school committees o Communicate with teachers about school policies and procedures o Coordinate both onboarding and exit interviews for school staff and families o Anything else needed from the Administrator for the benefit of the school
