Direct Support Professional

Job DescriptionJob Description We are looking for highly motivated, self-driven, compassionate, and reliable Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to become a part of our team In this position, you will be providing support and supervision to clients in a group home setting. Duties and responsibilities may include, but not limited to

  • medication administration
  • preparing meals
  • assisting with personal cares
  • light cleaning
  • transporting and accompanying clients on fun activities in the community
  • engaging the clients in leisure activities in the home such as crafts and board games 
  • providing redirection
  • charting
  • de-escalating behaviors when needed 
The DSP role is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about using their abilities to provide high quality care and make a lasting impact in the lives of adults with special needs. You must have a positive and professional attitude, be a problem solver, possess strong work ethics, and be able to work independently and as part of a team under minimal supervision.

Schedule/Hours: 2 days per week (3pm-10pm) and every other Saturday and Sunday 3pm-10pm

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • At least 18 years of age
