Radiology- Diagnostic Imaging-X-Ray– Radiologic Technologist
An excellent opportunity exists in the Lehigh Valley for our client actively seeking to add an IR Technologist to the group in a full-time permanent staff capacity, to assist the radiologist and/or other licensed physicians with applicable procedures.

Responsibilities (include but not limited to the following):
- Verifying patients' identity and reviewing physicians’ orders before beginning procedures.
- Using equipment to take radiographic images of patients' bones, tissues, and organs as per physicians’ written orders.
- Explaining procedures to patients and answering their questions.
- Positioning of patients, which may include assisting in lifting and moving patients with limited mobility.
- Collaborating and working closely with the resident Radiologist
- Ensure that the equipment is serviced regularly and in good working order.
- Promptly notifying management of damaged or malfunctioning equipment.
- Maintaining an accurate record of completed procedures.
- Sampled administrative duties include monitoring radiology supplies, attending mandatory staff meetings and training sessions, ensuring x-ray rooms are always clean and tidy, and that the x-ray machines are set at the correct radiation levels.
- To be successful in this role, individuals will be compassionate toward patients and possess the ability to lift or move patients with mobility issues.
Requirements:
- High school graduate or an associate degree in radiologic technology, radiology, or a related field.
- Two-year degree required for board eligibility
- (ARRT) eligible or certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
- Proven experience of at least two (2) or more years working in Interventional radiology
- CPR and/or BLS certification
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- A patient and compassionate disposition.
