Talento Search Group has an opening for an experienced Mold Maker in the Wake Forest, North Carolina area.  This is a direct-hire, 1st shift position with a starting pay in the $35 - $38 per hour depending upon experience. Plus OT.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Machine parts for molds by setting up and operating lathes, mills, shapers, grinders, lasers, and radial drills
  • Ensure the conformity of parts by measuring to specifications
  • Manage tooling preventive maintenance process
  • Use gauge blocks, thickness gauges, micrometers, and dial indicators to verify dimensions and alignment of parts
  • Read and create drawings or sketches for tools or fixtures
  • Fabricate component parts
  • Complete action and maintenance logs
  • Maintain supply inventory


Experience Needed:

  • Minimum 3 years current and/or recent experience as a Mold Maker. Injection Molding tooling experience preferred
  • Technical Degree in Machining or similar field is preferred
  • Ability to read blueprints
  • Ability to work overtime as needed
  • Ability to perform shop mathematics
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
