Livingston Street Capital LLC is a private equity real estate firm located in Radnor, PA with more than $700 million of assets under management. We are a dynamic, growing company looking to hire a real estate Property / Staff Accountant to support the accounting needs of a portfolio of properties and will be responsible for all duties relative to producing monthly financial reports for managed properties.

The ideal candidate will learn how property accounting is performed and be assigned a portfolio of properties. The expectation is that the candidate will continue to grow their responsibilities over time in order to make even greater contributions to the company. You will also get the opportunity to interact with the senior leaders of the company on a regular basis, further enhancing your career development.

Essential Duties / Responsibilities That You will Learn:

  • Manage the monthly closing process for multiple properties
  • Post to registers and ledger, balance and reconcile accounts, prepare journal entries or adjustments to accounts as needed
  • Track and record tenant receivables
  • Prepare balance sheet tie-out and maintain supporting account schedules
  • Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash position
  • Process property A/P including setting up new vendors and entering invoices
  • Prepare and post accrual entries with supporting documentation
  • Prepare distribution calculations
  • Prepare monthly financial package and perform initial P&L variance reviews
  • Assist with preparation of lender requests
  • Assist with year-end audits
  • Other ad hoc projects, as needed

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
  • Minimum 3.0/4.0 GPA (both Accounting GPA & Cumulative GPA)
  • Relevant work experience in accounting, ideally in a corporate setting
  • Ability to learn quickly and apply training to daily responsibilities
  • Well-spoken with strong presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Ability to grow and take on additional projects/responsibilities
