Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the total and preventive maintenance (TPM) of all equipment and facilities. You will ensure equipment runs smoothly, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

2nd shift - 1:30p - 10:00p

3rd shift - 9:30p - 6:00a

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, Repair, and Maintain: Handle all equipment and facility maintenance tasks.
  • Analyze and Adjust: Troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues to ensure optimal production and quality.
  • Test Equipment: Examine and test equipment post-repair or after extended downtime.
  • Record Data: Maintain detailed records of operational data for preventive maintenance and setup.
  • Support Improvement: Participate in workshops to enhance production and quality systems, implementing productivity improvements.
  • Facilitate Equipment Moves: Assist with relocating equipment on the shop floor.
  • Advise on Equipment: Provide technical advice on new equipment and modifications, ensuring compliance with manufacturing and safety standards.
  • Manage Inventory: Oversee spare parts and consumables inventory to minimize downtime.
  • Documentation: Keep up-to-date with maintenance documentation.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Education: Technical School specialization in Maintenance, Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or similar. Equivalent work experience is also acceptable.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in maintenance/engineering, with 1-3 years in the automotive industry.
  • Skills: Proficiency in reading hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic prints, troubleshooting electrical issues (24v DC, 120v, 240v, and 3-phase), and operating basic shop tools.
  • Mechanical Aptitude: High level of mechanical aptitude and experience with various equipment.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel to customer sites and work in diverse conditions, including climbing, lifting, and confined spaces.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Licenses: Journeyman Electrical License.
  • Experience: Knowledge in troubleshooting and maintaining equipment such as injection molding machines, robots, and more.
  • Additional Skills: Welding experience, PLC troubleshooting and programming skills, and excellent circuit troubleshooting abilities.

Physical Requirements:

  • Movement: Frequent walking and lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Communication: Constant use of sight, hearing, and verbal communication.
  • Work Environment: Indoor manufacturing setting with exposure to noisy conditions and hazardous equipment.
