Job DescriptionJob Description

The Associate Designer will be assisting Senior Designer on all aspects of product created for private label brands. The person will be responsible as a hands-on designer and will work closely in developing new product lines along with Design Director and V.P. of Design. The person will work cross-functionally in a collaborative fashion with key partners in production, product management, packaging, sales, and other relevant teams within ATHLUX Design Studio to effectively create merchandise from concept to final delivery.

Minimum Qualifications:

· 1-4 years of experience in garment design in Men’s ’s Apparel: Activewear and Sportswear. Denim and Workwear experience a plus.

· Bachelor’s degree in fashion design or related field required.

· Proficient in PLM, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Microsoft Excel, and Word.

· Miro board experience a plus.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Looking for a great team player with ability to multitask and work well with others.

· Assist in executing the seasonal design development process, from concept to delivery.

· Create internal tech packs for new development sent overseas.

· Flat technical sketching in Ai essential.

· Create garment development charts for all new proto development.

· Send comments on proto sample construction and fit sent for development.

· Create internal benchmarks analysis with competitors and aspirational brands.

· Assist in all meeting preparation and attend to take notes.

· Prepare seasonal color cards for department.

· Fluent in 3D Browzwear a plus to create presentations for our customers.

· Must be able to commute to daily to New York, New York.
