Job Description and Responsibilities
Multiple roles available as Speech and Language Pathologists and SLPAs to serve school districts in Denver, CO. The Speech and Language Pathologist and/or SLPA will be responsible for providing diagnostic and therapeutic services to students with communication disorders. The role also includes participating in IEP meetings, writing reports, and monitoring students' progress.
- Full time hours
- Part time hours
- Positions available with Early Childhood, K-5 and Middle School populations
- Dual support from both the district and TheraPeds
- Zoom interview
- Guaranteed hours
- $55.00-$65.00/hour (SLP), $35.00-$45.00 (SLPA)
Qualifications
- Master's or PhD degree (SLP) or Associates Degree (SLPA)
- Licensure (State) and ASHA
- Licensing with the State Department of Education, where required
- CCC preferred
- 2+ years of experience
- Experience working with children preferred
- Experience in a school setting preferred
- Organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in use of technology
- Fingerprint background clearance
- Ability to collaborate with school staff and parents with a demonstrated ability to exercise a high level of tact and discretion in both internal and external communications

Physical Requirements
If applicable, working and playing with students requires that employees must be able to perform the necessary physical movement functions, as needed, such as lifting, sitting, walking, standing, crawling and engaging with students in all physical locations and activities.
