Industrial Painter

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are hiring for first shift to industrial painters in Cape Canaveral, FL. This is a full time position working 40+ hours per week. Must be able to stand for entire shift and work well with a team. $22-$25 per hour paid weekly. During the project you will be working various jobs and materials on the launch pad at a height of 300ft - 450ft. MUST be comfortable with heights. Duties:- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as necessary- Apply paint using various techniques such as airless paint spraying or brush and roller- Ensure proper mixing and matching of paint colors- Follow safety protocols and guidelines while handling and storing paint and related materials- Maintain equipment and tools used for painting- Complete painting projects within specified timeframes

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as an industrial painter or in a similar role is preferred

- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices

- Mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain painting equipment

- Ability to operate a crane for lifting heavy objects

- Proficiency in airless paint spraying techniques

- Experience in assembly work is a plus

- Familiarity with materials handling and warehouse operations

- Knowledge of auto body repair techniques is beneficial

- Ability to use power tools effectively and safely

- Valid forklift certification is a plus

- Must be comfortable with heights.
