Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with an interest or background in integrative medicine to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide medical care to infants, children, and adolescents, performing preventive care, diagnosis, and treatment of various pediatric illnesses and chronic conditions with a focus on using nutrition and modifiable lifestyle factors to modulate and/or prevent disease states. Schedules typically average about 20 total patients per day with 30 min for well visits and 15 min for simple sick visits. Additional time in schedule for more complicated complaints or for mood concerns, allowing time for charting and not feeling rushed with patients. The clinic is a private clinic, allowing the ability to implement creative ideas to help with patient care.

Expected Qualifications:

  • Completed coursework and licensure for nurse practitioner.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team
  • Excellent communication skills with young patients and their families
  • Excellent clinical assessment skills for pediatric patients and ability to provide compassionate care to children and their families
  • Proficiency in using electronic medical records systems for documentation

Pay: Rate negotiable depending on experience (hourly used to calculate a salary-based wage based on the number of clinic hours worked weekly)

Expected hours: 24-32 hours per week, broken in to ½ or full days, M-F 8-5 pm hours, no weekend clinic hours. Hours can be flexible to accommodate needs. Pay range is based on part time work.
