Job DescriptionJob Description

Blazerjobs is seeking multiple Speech-Language Pathologists to provide maternity leave coverage for the 2024-2025 school year. The ideal candidates will be passionate about serving students with diverse needs and will thrive in a collaborative, dynamic educational environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy services to students with mild/moderate, moderate/severe, or autism spectrum disorder in Special Day Class settings
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine students' communication needs
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans in collaboration with the IEP team
  • Provide consultation to teachers, staff, and parents regarding students' speech and language needs
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and services provided
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support students' overall academic and social-emotional growth

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • California state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
  • Experience working with students with diverse communication needs, including those with mild/moderate, moderate/severe, or autism spectrum disorder
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

Caseload:

  • Approximately 50 students
  • Majority of caseload in elementary school settings
