Job Title: Engineer Tech

Location: Flower Mound, TX

1st Shift: 7am-3:30pm

Pay rate: $24.75/Hr.

 

Solid experience with Linux - Red Hat/CentOS a strong preference.
Fluency in Linux command-line interface, navigating filesystem, basic command set, and
shell scripting
• Familiarity with network services - DHCP, TFTP, NFS, NTP, SSH/SFTP/SCP, and MySQL
database
• Understanding of enterprise server technology - BIOS, iDRAC/BMC, RAID/HBA controllers, IPMI commands, ethernet networking. Mellanox InfiniBand experience a
plus.
• Familiarity with variety of switch manufacturers & OS commands (Cisco, Dell, Juniper,
Arista, etc.) & respective networking principles (OS| Layers, VLANs, etc.)
• Strong troubleshooting skills, able to respond quickly/proactively to issues under tight
timelines
• Previous experience in EMR (Electro-Mechanical Repair) troubleshooting, ESD
workstations, familiarity with server and storage internals
• Clear understanding of rack solution component functionality - Servers, Storage Units,
Switches, PDUs, Blade Enclosures, KMMs, KVMs, UPS and Patch Panels
• Run Linux and/or Windows-based validation (confirmation of various hardware,
settings, and successful configuration) and ability to interpret log files
• Ability to effectively communicate with Dell Validation Engineers, Project Managers, 2T
Leadership, and various internal customers.
