Amotec is actively seeking candidates for an Electrical Technician opportunity Our client is a global manufacturing leader supporting the Automotive industry. The Electrical Technician is responsible for systematic troubleshooting, accurate root cause diagnosis, and high-quality sustainable repairs of production equipment in a manufacturing plant environment. This is a 3rd shift position and our client offers immediate benefits, paid OT, and a competitive hourly pay.

Schedule:

  • Friday 11pm-11am Saturday
  • Saturday 11pm-11am Sunday
  • 3pm-11pm Monday & Tuesday

Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair AC and DC electrical control systems, including PLCs, IPCs, hardwired systems, and field devices.
  • Troubleshoot and repair AC and DC motors, drives, and servo systems in the plant.
  • Diagnose problems using tools such as digital multimeters, schematics, PLC/drive logic software diagnostic tools, and other specialized software as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Associates degree in Electrical Engineering or similar field
  • Must be a US citizen or hold a green card
