Job DescriptionJob Description

DTA/Driver Staff Position

Daily Duties:

  • Pick up members from their home and drive them to the Day Time Program. 
  • Engage with members during the day program, participate in daily activities and assist members in completing their daily life skill goals and objectives. 
  • Help meal prep for lunch assist in feeding and cleaning up common areas. 
  • Assist in toileting, lifting, transferring and assist in ADL's.
  • Participate in community outings with members. 
  • Assist in loading and unloading from company transportation vehicles, loading and unloading ambulatory members and wheelchairs as well as appropriately strapping down and securing wheelchairs.
  • Drop off members in the afternoon at their home via company transportation vehicles.

Looking for timely and ready to work individuals.

  • Call-offs are Not Tolerated and will result in termination without medica/emergency or other valid proof is presented. 

Knowledge of prevention and support techniques for behaviors. 

  • Identify Behaviors
  • Analyze behavior precursors.
  • Support Behaviors

Communicate with Staff Supervisors and management. 

Qualifications (We help with Certifications):

  • 21 years or older 
  • Vaid Driver's License
  • Valid Fingerprint Clearance Crad
  • First Aid
  • CPR
  • Article 9 Certificate
  • Prevention and Support Certificate
