Summary:
The Accounts Receivable Manager will have a strong background in accounts receivable supervision, a thorough understanding of financial processes, and excellent leadership skills. This role will work closely with the Finance Manager and play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the accounts receivable department, ensuring accurate and timely processing of transactions, and leading a team of dedicated professionals.
How our Accounts Receivable Manager spends their time:
- Lead and supervise the accounts receivable team, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure a high level of performance;
- Set performance goals and objectives for team members and conduct regular performance evaluations;
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork and professional development;
- Oversee the end-to-end accounts receivable process, including the invoicing, billing, and collection functions;
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of customer invoices, receipts, and other financial transactions;
- Monitor and analyze accounts receivable aging reports to identify and address overdue accounts;
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve customer inquiries and discrepancies;
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers to facilitate smooth payment processes;
- Implement and maintain effective communication channels to address customer concerns and inquiries;
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounts receivable function;
- Stay informed about industry best practices and recommend improvements to existing processes;
- Generate regular reports on accounts receivable performance, aging analysis, and other relevant metrics;
- Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support decision-making processes;

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field;
- Proven experience in accounts receivable, with a focus on supervision and leadership;
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Proficiency in accounting software, Microsoft Office, and Google Suite;
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities;
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment;
- Experience with ERP systems is preferred;
- Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements;
