Position Summary: The Sales Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to the Sales Team of an Engineering Sales firm in the Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning field.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Collaborate with Sales Engineers to understand customer needs and provide necessary sales support.
  • Enter client orders into the system and coordinate with other departments to meet customer delivery requirements
  • Keep detailed records of client accounts
  • Triage client inquiries / complaints for quick and effective resolution
  • Provide superior customer service to both internal and external customers
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or Associates Degree in Business or related field
  • 2-4 years of experience working in an administrative / customer service focused capacity, or
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Technical understanding and/or background is helpful

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Familiarity and ability to learn and work with CRM and pricing software
  • Excellent written and verbal communications
