Outside Sales Representative

We are looking for an Outside Sales Rep with experience selling Video Surveillance, Intrusion Alarms, Access Control, and Fire Alarm Systems. Security Systems Design and Integration Experience is preferred but nor required.

Skillsets

  • Identify client needs and resolve issues quickly
  • Ability to learn our products and present them to end users, contractors, and consultants.
  • Ability to plan and manage daily activities for assigned geographical areas and verticals
  • New Clients - Market Centec to new clients via cold calling, internet leads, and networking events.
  • Client Retention - Maintain and grow existing client base, in addition to contacting existing clients for contract renewals and up-selling opportunities.
  • Must be competent in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point)
  • Learn and/or be competent in our other Business Software Packages.
  • Support our success in part of our exceptional service to our customers.

The Successful Candidate will be required to:

  • Prepare detailed and accurate Sales Proposals
  • Process accurate client transactions for project completion
  • Work with Operations for successful project launches
  • Follow the project from order entry to project close to maintain client satisfaction and relationships.
  • Responsible for thorough knowledge off all company functions and policies.
  • Remain current on all products, services, industry and competitive trends.
  • Attend all applicable training/meetings

Customer Service

Provided in: Commercial Integrated Security Systems, including:
Access Control, Video Surveillance, Intercom, and Alarm Systems.

  • Focus on customer development
  • Create an environment where ultimate customer satisfaction is achieved
  • Be prompt and attend company meetings and training
  • Continually gain product expertise / stay aware of Industry Trends
  • Assess customer needs and offer recommendations based on quality and value
  • Meet established Sales and Gross Profit Goals
  • Work closely and cooperatively with the administrative, marketing, sales, service, and install teams.
  • Be professional and represent Centec favorably in all interactions
  • Minimum of 1 Year Sales Experience in Commercial Electronic Security Industry
  • Outstanding personal integrity/business ethics and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Desire for continual learning
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
  • Self motivation and the ability to work independently
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Flexible and able to work extended hours
  • Detail oriented
  • Excellent attitude, work ethic and work quality are a must
  • Clean driving record
  • Must be able to pass a Criminal Background Check
  • Limited Travel is Required
