Middle School English Language Arts Teacher

We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Middle School English Language Arts Teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. The ideal candidate will inspire and motivate students in grades 6-8 to develop their reading, writing, and critical thinking skills. This role involves creating engaging lesson plans, assessing student progress, and fostering a love for literature and language.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging English Language Arts curriculum and lesson plans that meet state and national standards.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning and personal growth.
• Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate interdisciplinary teaching methods and technologies.
• Participate in professional development, staff meetings, and school-wide initiatives.
• Engage in ongoing communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress and development.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in English, Education, or a related field.
• Valid teaching license in English Language Arts or willingness to attain licensure before the start date.
• Prior teaching experience in middle school English Language Arts is preferred but not required.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
