JOB SUMMARY: CALIBRATION TECHNICIAN CAREER OPPORTUNITY

Well Established and Growing Precision Measurement Company Seeking Calibration Technician

This position requires demonstrated knowledge of several key areas of metrology including AC/DC, temperature, vibration, pressure, torque and physical/dimensional. You will have experience calibrating and troubleshooting the following types of test and measurement equipment as a minimum requirement: temperature devices, pressure devices, multi-meters, o'scopes, frequency counters, power meters, mechanical type gauges, and the ability to learn specialized test stands. You will also have the aptitude to develop and maintain calibration procedures as needed. The ability to work unsupervised and unsurpassed dependability is required.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • PMEL or other applicable training with a minimum of 5 years verifiable experience in the metrology field is preferred.
  • Outstanding customer skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with quality systems such as ISO 17025 is preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
  • Ability to work under minimum supervision required.
  • Positive, eager to learn attitude
  • US Citizen
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. and climb stairs
  • Ability to work in an industrial environment while maintaining safety at all times

Compensation: Commensurate with Experience. Full Benefits.

Full Time Employment, 40 plus hours per week. Company Vehicle provided. Typical Job hours: 8:00 am-4:30 pm
