In this dynamic role, you'll be the hero behind the scenes, ensuring our clients' safety and peace of mind. From troubleshooting system issues to installing upgrades, you'll wear many hats and play a vital role in our success.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and resolve problems within fire alarm and security systems, ensuring their smooth operation.
  • Perform routine maintenance to prevent future issues and keep systems running optimally.
  • Assist with small project installations, including upgrades and equipment replacements.
  • Program systems to meet client needs and ensure optimal functionality.
  • Conduct pre-sales job walks, providing valuable insights for our sales team.
  • Effectively communicate with clients, understand their needs, and provide solutions.
  • Maintain detailed service records and ensure customer sign-off on completed work.
  • Safety first: Adhere to all safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience resolving technical low voltage problems.
  • 2-5 years of experience in construction or low-voltage installations. 
  • High school diploma (or equivalent).
  • Valid California Driver's License and proof of auto insurance.
  • Must be available to work weekends, evenings, split shifts, on-call, and rotating shifts (if needed).

Work Environment:

  • Be prepared for a variety of work locations, including construction sites, commercial buildings, high-rise buildings, and hospitals (with potential patient contact).
  • The role may require working in confined spaces on occasion.
  • Physical demands include repetitive motions, walking, driving, bending, stooping, lifting equipment (20-50 lbs), and prolonged sitting or standing.
