We are seeking a Leasing Agent to join our team Your responsibilities will include the following:
Leasing
- Telephone techniques
- Greeting and qualifying
- Product knowledge
- Demonstrating the product
- Closing the lease
- Follow-up with thank-you note and phone call
- Market knowledge
- Knowledge of local, state and federal laws governing tenant/landlord relations
Marketing
- Resident Referral Program
- Employer Calls/Broker Calls/Locators
- Resident Retention (service calls, events, newsletters, etc.)
- Generate traffic (bootleg signs, community referrals, etc.)
- Appearance of office, amenity area, models, and property
Administrative Responsibilities
- Completing all lease paperwork
- Processing rental applications for Property Manager’s approval
- Traffic sheets
- Accepting rental payments
- Accepting service requests
- Assist in preparation of weekly/monthly reports
- Keeping up with guest card follow up
General
- Maintain the highest standards as established by Standard Management Company
- Assist team effort in any way possible
- Act responsible and in the best interest of the property
Qualifications
- High school education or equivalent
- Light typing skills
- Courteous, pleasant voice, service-oriented, personable, outgoing, friendly, intelligent, flexible, quick thinker, honest, competitive, assertive, detail-oriented and organized
- Sales motivated
- Ability to interact with all levels of management and personnel
Physical Demands of the Position
- Showing property will include walking, stooping and some stair climbing
- Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling 20 pounds occasionally, 10 pounds frequently, negligible amount constantly
- Will include walking and/or standing frequently
- Need to speak professionally and clearly
