We are a custom label manufacturer looking for a die cutter who takes great pride in their work to join our team, and help take our company to the next level.

Description:

We manufacture flexographic and digital labels printed from an HP indigo, and we are looking for a die-cutter operator to finish the labels. They will be breaking larger rolls into smaller ones on a tabletop and other machines and placing the rolls in boxes. We want a die-cutter operator who can operate a Delta ModTech label finisher or a rewinder. This die-cutter operator will be responsible for operating the machine and finishing our digital printed labels.

This die cutter operator candidate must be able to fully set up and break down the label finisher, as well as control and maintain quality specifications during die cutting operations. Die cutter operators must be able to communicate and work well with others. The finishing system uses UV coating and Laminations.

Must-Have:

• One year experience on a finisher (Delta or ABG)
• Basic problem-solving skills and be self-motivated
• Basic math skills to perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Experience in operating mechanical/ electromechanical equipment.
• Understanding of the basic process of prepress.
• Basic personal computer skills, including electronic mail and word processing.
• Willingness to be a cross-functional employee that can work with multiple teams within the organization to achieve success.
• Good people skills

Job Responsibilities:

• Rewind large rolls into smaller rolls
• Package orders into boxes
• Fix rolls to look presentable
• Label containers
• Stack boxes and paper
• Routine Drug testing
• English speaking
• Legal drivers license
• Reading and writing skills
• General math skills
• Basic computer skills for shipping orders
• Able to lift at least 75-100lbs repeatedly
• Janitorial (light clean up duties)
• Machine maintenance.
• Complete other printing tasks
• Good with inks/colors
• Inspecting labels
• Loading
• Mixing inks
• Cleaning ink pans
• Delivering to our clients

Salary: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour, depneds on experience and progression, reviews are every 6 months

• Associate (preferred)
