Maintenance Technician and Grounds for Property Management

Candidates must have at least1 year of Property Management Maintenance Experience. Must pass a Criminal Background check. As a Maintenance Technician, you are responsible for maintaining the Ignite community standards, the routine upkeep and cleanliness of the community grounds, facilities, streets, homes, and equipment. They must take pride in their work, act with a sense of urgency, be self-motivating and provide excellent customer service to current and prospective residents.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure the community is clean and a well-maintained living environment, adhering to Ignite's standards at all times.
Perform work orders, minor repairs to homes and facilities as needed and complete emergency repairs as may be required to prevent damage or deterioration,
Ensure grounds and common area lawns are manicured appropriately Regularly treat for weeds, weed whip, rake leaves, plant flowers/shrubs, trim shrubs, and hedges, and performs other lawn care services, as necessary.
Responsible for inventory management, maintaining vacant sites, including strap-downs and removal of trash and debris.
Perform water testing and other maintenance duties related to a well-water system, sewer system, or on-site water meters, if applicable. May include reading, repairing, and installing water meters.
Ensure trash/debris is picked up daily from common areas and streets and empty common area trash containers as needed.
Remove snow from community streets, parking lots, building entrances and other areas, where applicable.
Follow safety procedures while performing duties, including safely operating vehicles.
Other duties and special projects as assigned.
Demonstrated knowledge of grounds maintenance and general techniques and repair work. And a general knowledge of plumbing and electrical maintenance.
Ability to operate power equipment, various tools, and commercial machinery.
Availability to respond to community needs during non-business hours (may be required to be on-call).
Abide by and follow fair housing procedures.
Other duties as assigned.
Valid driver’s license.
Must pass Criminal Background Check
