Located in the East Germantown section of Philadelphia, the Central Association of the Miraculous Medal (CAMM) is seeking an experienced and skilled Sr. Financial Analyst to supervise general accounting operations and control our financial transactions. This position requires active knowledge of Blackbaud FENXT financial software.

Accounting and Financial Systems responsibilities would include:

  • Consistently analyze financial data and present reports in an accurate and timely manner; clearly communicate monthly, quarterly and annual grant reporting; monitor progress, prepare financial outlooks and financial forecasts; and keep Controller abreast of any changes
  • Prepare project budgets and financial reports for restricted donations
  • Prepare financial analysis as needed
  • Developing and Tracking KPIs
  • Assisting and eventually leading the Monthly Close process
  • Reconciliation of Revenues, including revenues from our physical and online retail store
  • Preparing journal entries
  • Forecasting, Reforecasting, Financial modeling
  • Analyzing financial statements; Income and Balance Sheet
  • Assist in coordinating audit activity and prepare detailed audit schedules
  • Oversee accounts, ledgers and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements

Responsibilities for Budgets, Cash Flow Management and Controls would consist of:

  • Assist in the development and management of the annual operating budget process, providing guidance and support to Departments and other team members where needed
  • Maintain internal control and safeguards for receipt of revenue, costs and program budgets and actual expenses
  • Review balance sheet, income statements and sub-ledgers for accuracy
  • Cash Flow Analysis
  • Support strategic and annual planning and participate in a wide variety of special projects, reports and initiatives as required
  • Create and prepare reports on an as-needed basis for management

This is a full-time, on-site, salaried position with excellent benefits, reporting to the Vice President, Finance. A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, mathematics or a related field is required. Master’s degree is desirable.

Qualified candidates should have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, a strong understanding of GAAP, a working knowledge of Microsoft products with advanced skills in Excel. Preference will be given to those applicants that have practical experience in QuickBooks or similar software and have previous Not-for-Profit job experience. The salary offered for this position is $72,000 to $80,000.
