Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cook to join our team at an independent living community in Rhinebeck, NY. This position offers a competitive pay rate of $19-$22 per hour. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking and a commitment to providing high-quality meals for our residents.

Cook Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a cook in a professional kitchen setting.
  • Ability to follow recipes accurately and develop creative specials.
  • Strong organizational skills for managing inventory and food rotation.
  • Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and varying shifts.
Cook Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook meals for residents, following established recipes.
  • Develop and prepare daily specials.
  • Order and manage inventory of food products.
  • Rotate and label food items to ensure freshness and compliance with health standards.
  • Wash dishes and maintain a clean and organized kitchen.
  • Ensure a safe work environment by following all safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
