Enzo’s Italian Market is a Specialty Store that offers homemade prepared foods and imported products directly from Italy, including fine Italian wines. Enzo’s Italian Market is a foundational place to continue learning in the Hospitality and Culinary Arts Industry. We are seeking a food-knowledgeable Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have great customer service skills and the ability to educate customers on our range of offerings. All information will be acquired through our training program.

Sales Associate - Responsibilities

• To make customer-facing sales by educating our new and repeat customers about our products (specialty Italian grocery items, prepared foods, fresh meats, gourmet bakery items, Italian wines).
• Being able to up-sell, meet sales goals, and work well with associates.
• Process POS (Point of Sale) transactions.
• Willingness to gain knowledge of all offerings, ingredients, recipes and preparation methods.
• Re-stock display coolers / freezers, grocery items, wines, and other products / merchandise.
• Intake vendor deliveries, price received merchandise and products in accordance with POS system procedures.
• Consistently perform “Store Opening and Closing” procedures in accordance with county health codes and posted policies.

Sales Associate - Requirements

· Must be at least 18 years old.

· 1 Year (minimum) experience in similar customer-facing, retail sales position.
