Job description:
Scheduling & rescheduling patient appointments
New patient registration
Patient Check-in
Verifying Insurance benefits and reviewing current balances prior to visits
Patient Chart Preparation prior to visit
Reviewing & Responding to phone and email messages where appropriate
Greeting each of our patients & visitors
Creating an atmosphere of calm and safety
Being present for our patients and their needs
Interacting and working in collaboration with all team members for exceptional care and service.
Maintain waiting room tidiness and supplies
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years in Patient or Customer Coordination
- Medical office experience
- Proficient in typing and computer use
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent patient communication and phone etiquette
- Experience with Athena Health EMR system preferred
Skills:
- Exceptional people skills
