Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our team. The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate payroll processing for our clients. This individual will work closely with the client to ensure that all employees are paid accurately and on time.

Responsibilities:

  • Collect and verify timekeeping information for all employees
  • Enter payroll data into the payroll system
  • You adhere to a daily schedule and organize yourself to deal with a high volume of inbound calls.
  • Process payroll for both salaried and hourly employees
  • Calculate and process various payroll deductions (e.g. garnishments)
  • Verify the accuracy of payroll data and make any necessary adjustments
  • Respond to client payroll inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Generate and distribute payroll reports

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in payroll processing
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
