Job description


We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. Your primary responsibility will be to perform dental cleanings and assist the dentist in various procedures. If you are passionate about oral health and have excellent communication skills, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:
- Perform dental cleanings, including scaling, root planing, and polishing
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Conduct oral cancer screenings
- Administer local anesthesia as directed by the dentist
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
- Maintain accurate patient records and update medical histories
- Follow strict infection control protocols to ensure patient safety
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations regarding patient privacy and confidentiality

Experience:
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications and experience:
- Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of Ohio
- Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist
- Proficient in performing vital signs and patient assessments
- Strong knowledge of infection control systems and aseptic technique
- Familiarity with medical records management
- Experience with medical imaging techniques
- Excellent understanding of dental anatomy and oral health conditions

Pay:

- Starting at  $70,000.00 per year

- Based off of experience and certifications
