Key Responsibilities:
- Machining Operations: Operate and maintain manual tooling machines, CNC machines are a plus, such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, and drill presses.
- Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications to determine the dimensions and tolerances of finished workpieces.
- Precision Measurement: Use precision measuring instruments, such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges, to ensure parts meet exact specifications and tolerances.
- Quality Control: Conduct thorough inspections of machined Tooling and Molds to identify defects and ensure adherence to quality standards. Adjustments to machinery and tooling are performed as needed to maintain product quality.
- Tooling Setup: Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and materials for machining operations. Set up machines and adjust controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, and depth of cut.
- Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing processes, reduce waste, and increase productivity.
Basic Qualifications:
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and plans mechanical and or electrical.
- Must be able to cooperate with others, communicate effectively, be attentive to detail, and ensure accuracy in work assignments.
- High School graduate or GED is required.
- Must have excellent attendance.
- 2+ years of experience required.
Shift: 1st 6 am-2 pm
Pay: $20 - $22 DOE
