What You Will Do

  • Work in an Engineering environment developing products for the Aviation industry
  • FPGA design using Verilog/System Verilog code
  • Hands-on involvement in circuit board and lab simulations.
  • Provide hardware and software design support from the Concept phase through Production
  • Work collaboratively in a team with System Engineers, PCB designers, software developers, and other electrical engineers
  • Apply Engineering skill and creativity to the IS&S product line

What You Bring To This Role

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent education
  • 2+ years electronic design experience with FPGAs or ASICs
  • Expertise with Verilog or VHDL
  • Understanding of FPGA design including RTL design, verification, logic synthesis, prototyping and timing analysis.
  • Proficiency with using Vivado; knowledge of recent Xilinx/Microsemi architectures
  • Proficiency with RTL simulation tools, ModelSim/Questa preferred
  • Deep competencies within analysis and circuit board troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with industry-standard protocols such as I2C, SPI, JTAG, Ethernet, PCIe, video desired.
  • Interpersonal skills: Collaborative, Critical Thinking, Technical Competency
