Job Title: Travel MRI Tech

Location: Bronx, NY

Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Travel MRI Tech to join our healthcare team in the Bronx, NY. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating MRI equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and maintaining accurate records. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can work independently and collaboratively with the medical team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform MRI scans on patients as prescribed by physicians.
  • Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during the imaging process.
  • Maintain MRI equipment and report any malfunctions.
  • Accurately document patient information and imaging results.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals.
  • Follow all safety protocols and regulatory standards.

Requirements:

  • Current ARRT (MR) certification.
  • Venipuncture certification.
  • Valid New York State license as an MRI Technologist.
  • Minimum of 2 years of MRI experience.
  • AHA CPR Certification.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
