Job DescriptionJob Description

Kendrick Property Management is looking for a skilled and experienced handyman/maintenance worker to join our team. We are looking for a reliable person that can work both independently and as part of a team. This position reports to the Field Maintenance Supervisor.

​Duties/responsibilities:

​Performs a variety of functions involved in property maintenance by providing both assistance and technical support to property managers, as it relates to the maintenance of our residential, commercial, and condominium association clients. General maintenance includes, but is not limited to, technical recommendations, general maintenance (including turnover work), issue identification, insight, and corrections on identified maintenance issues. Maintains and prepares worksheets on assigned jobs and fills out timesheet.

​Good verbal and written communication skills are needed. Must maintain a high level of confidentiality, respecting the privacy and rights of tenants. General knowledge of Microsoft Office and Word is a plus.

​60-day probationary period, with eventual inclusion into on-call rotation (one week/month).

​General requirements:

​Ability to walk/move; ability to sit periodically; ability to lift up to 50 pounds periodically; ability to use a ladder; access to some maintenance tools; valid driver’s license; access to a vehicle (pick-up truck or van preferred); must be able to pass a limited background and credit investigation.
