Title: Maintenance Technician

Location: Sibley IA

Job Summary:

Timewell Drainage Products is actively seeking a maintenance person to work on plastic vacuum extrusion lines. This person will be working with a diverse group of people, so communication is key. Timewell is safety priority, so our employees need to as well.

This position may start out at: $23.50 but willing to go higher with the right experience and fit.

The Plant Maintenance Technician is responsible for sustaining a preventive maintenance program that optimizes the longevity of the manufacturer's warranty on all process equipment. The Maintenance technician maintains and repairs plant facilities including electrical (up to 600V), mechanical, pneumatic, and plumbing repairs with a high standard of excellence. The Maintenance Technician must be safety and quality minded.

Responsibilities:

  • Strict adherence to safe work practices
  • Maintain a neat, clean work area
  • Prompt, timely, effective communication to management regarding problems with process equipment, buildings and grounds
  • Maintain and repair all vacuum corrugation extrusion equipment
  • Maintain and repair all electrical motors ( up to 600V), gas and diesel engines and tools required to maintain buildings and grounds
  • React quickly and properly to resolve problems or equipment failures
  • Prepare and complete work orders and other pertinent paperwork

Occasional Duties :

  • Locate parts and equipment needed for repairs or maintenance
  • Vacuum Pump, chiller, water bath and heat exchanger PM's

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Technical school degree or equivalent experience
  • Electrical PLUS
  • Experience in plastics operations maintenance preferred
  • Industrial maintenance
  • Have your own tools
  • Physical, mental, visual, and auditory ability to operate powered industrial equipment
  • Conscientious attention to detail and quality
  • High standard of safety
  • Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers and supervisors
  • Ability to work full time schedule with overtime as needed
