Requirements:
  • Ideally, you possess five plus years of machining experience.
  • You should be able to operate and perform inspections and routine maintenance of a variety machines such as: manual lathes, Bridgeport's, surface grinders and drill presses.
  • Ideally you have set up and operated CNC machines on small to large components that are loaded with an overhead crane as needed.
  • You should be capable of making the necessary changes to feeds and speeds.
  • It is critically important that you can read prints, schematics, complex instructions and work to close tolerances.
  • You should possess your own set of basic tools as well.
  • Basic math, verbal and technical skills
  • Proficient programing skills
  • Knowledge of Mazak controls (preferred)
