Security Technician

Job DescriptionJob Description

The Security Technician provides security equipment service, including ongoing maintenance, upgrades, and repairs. May include some installation and programming, but primary focus will be on service for security surveillance and intrusion systems. Clients are mainly commercial and multi-tenant buildings.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in security systems or related industry
• General electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Experience reading engineering documents and installation
• Knowledge of security systems, IP networking, and remote access
• Familiarity with Schneider and Tridium security products
• Milestone camera knowledge preferred
• Excellent professional etiquette, customer service, and verbal and written communication skills
• Must have valid driver's license and ability to pass security-level background checks
