Job Description:

The Sushi Chef will be responsible for preparing and cooking food items in a high-volume kitchen environment. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a passion for cooking, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure. The ideal candidate will
have a strong culinary background and the skills necessary to maintain the quality and consistency of our dishes.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards.
• Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies.
• Ensure all food is prepared in a timely and efficient manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
• Follow all health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient kitchenoperations.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels, notifying management of any shortages.
• Assist with training and mentoring junior kitchen staff.

Skills and Requirements:

*For Sushi Chef minimum of 2 years of experience is required
• Proven experience as a Sushi Chef in a high-volume kitchen.
• Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
simultaneously.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality dishes.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
