Summary

The Senior Financial Analyst (SFA) will support the Founder of Acctuate in its Advisory business, providing financial analysis, planning, M&A, and financing services to Acctuate’s clients. The position will implement proprietary processes while leading improvements against current workflows. The SFA will assist with the short-term and long-term financial needs of its clients such as budgeting, monthly reporting, financings, and acquisitions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support companies across a spectrum of strategic questions and issues, including benchmarking, relevant KPIs and strategy

  • Managing and prioritizing competing needs from multiple clients simultaneously

  • Developing and maintaining complex financial models

  • Conducting comprehensive and in-depth company and industry research

  • Preparing presentations and other materials for clients

  • Playing a key role in supporting deal execution

  • Performing extensive valuation, due diligence, and pricing analyses

  • Advising clients on strategic and corporate finance alternatives

  • Conducting budgeting and strategic planning

  • Developing KPIs and reporting packages, covering finance, sales, and operations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 5 years of working experience in finance and accounting

  • Strong working knowledge of Excel and Google Sheets to develop financial models

  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to develop and maintain relationships at all levels of the organization

  • Ability to manage multiple clients simultaneously

  • Ability to break down and solve problems through quantitative thinking and analysis

  • Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter with the capacity to work independently and collaboratively in small teams

  • Sincere interest in the applications of finance principles and methods for technology-based companies
