**Availability:** Weekdays and Weekends

 

**Overview:**

Cumberland Country Club is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking and a desire to deliver high-quality dining experiences to our members and guests. We are willing to train the right person who is eager to learn and grow in a professional kitchen environment.

 

**Responsibilities:**

- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to club recipes and standards.

- Ensure all food is cooked and presented to high standards of quality and consistency.

- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.

- Assist in the development of new menu items and daily specials.

- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to the executive chef.

- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

- Assist with training and mentoring junior kitchen staff as needed.

- Perform other kitchen duties as assigned.

 

**Requirements:**

- Previous cooking experience preferred, but not required.

- Willingness to learn and be trained in a professional kitchen setting.

- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.

- Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and food safety practices.
