We are a Detention Contractor (Specialize in Prison Construction) seeking a Welder/Fabricator/Installer to become an integral part of our Field Installation team Our field crews our responsible for the installation of all detention equipment per our contractual scopes of work on projects in active/existing Detention Centers and New Construction Projects.

**MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A BACK GROUND CHECK.**

**WE DO NOT PERFORM STRUCTURAL STEEL WORK**

Responsibilities:

  • Demo of existing equipment
    • Demo existing equipment using cutting torches, grinders with cut off wheels, etc.
    • Remove existing equipment/material from building
  • Installation of finished metal products
    • Move/stage new material into existing building.
    • Stick Welding carbon steel and 304 stainless steel (14Ga, 12 Ga., 3/16", and 1/4" material)
    • Cleaning welds using hand grinders.
  • Install and repair various equipment and components
    • Detention grade doors
    • Detention grade glass
    • Detention grade hardware
    • Detention grade furniture
    • Etc.
  • Follow blueprints to meet installation specifications
  • Make in field modifications, if necessary.

​Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in welding, manufacturing, or other related fields
  • Familiarity with welding tools and procedure
  • Familiarity working with hand tools
  • Familiarity with engineering blueprints and schematics
  • Ability to handle physical workload. Manual labor and Heavy lifting will be required.
