Social Scientist or Health Scientist

A-Frame Solutions is looking for a Social Scientist and a Health Scientist to support a client in the DMV area.
Location: DMV area, supporting a Federal Government Agency. Possibility for telework options, subject to project requirements and company policies.
Requirements:
- Ph.D. in Social Science, Health Science,or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience relevant to the listed duties and responsibilities

Social Scientist Duties and Responsibilities:
Design, conduct, and interpret studies related to health care workforce development.
Conduct quantitative and/or qualitative analyses of program data and large datasets, ensuring data adequacy and accuracy. Revise or develop new methods as necessary for optimal research results.
Analyze survey and/or administrative data from public and private sources, identifying significant factors or limitations impacting analysis results.
Utilize SPSS statistical analysis software to analyze large and complex datasets.
Interpret data tabulations and graphs.
Develop and write materials, documents, and reports related to program outputs and outcome evaluations. Create visually appealing and understandable graphics/charts using Tableau software.
Ensure materials comply with plain language and 508 compliance for web posting.
Analyze reports and data submitted by grantees and contractors to demonstrate program results at the program level. Prepare reviews, summaries, and recommendations for program policies and future focus areas. Communicate recommendations (written and orally) to grantees, contractors, and Federal staff, providing technical assistance on implementation.
Health Scientist Duties and Responsibilities:
Design and conduct statistical analyses and research projects on the characteristics of the US healthcare workforce and its utilization.
Improve data and methodologies in current mathematical/statistical models that attempt to reflect or reproduce the functioning of the healthcare system and its component markets, including the effects and interrelationships of supply, demand, and other considerations.
Research and analyze a series of healthcare workforce topics requiring multiple large datasets, such as the labor supply of health professionals, the geographic distribution of the workforce, and the utilization of health services.
Conduct a series of data-gathering activities designed to identify new and/or updated datasets.
Evaluate and recommend the inclusion of new data into existing or newly developed forecasting models.
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to obtain a Government Security Clearance at a minimum of Public Trust level.
