SUMMARY
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-oriented individuals to join our team. As a Team Member, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent service to our customers and ensuring a positive dining experience. This is a fast-paced environment that requires strong communication skills and the ability to work independently, as well as part of the team. We have a variety of shifts available. Schedule is flexible and shifts can vary each week based on the events we are attending.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare and serve food in accordance with established quality standards and portion sizes
  • Provide excellent customer service, including the ability to handle difficult situations
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards to ensure the safety of customers and staff
  • Keep kitchen area stocked, maintain inventory, and assist with loading truck.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Become proficient at all workstations with ability to multi-task.
  • Adhere to safety standards when working with machinery and ovens.
  • Follow opening and/or closing procedures to clean and prep truck.
  • Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to work with co-workers in a fast paced environment in a small kitchen on food truck
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and ensure prompt service
  • Ability to work independently while adhering to management’s rules
  • Maintain a positive and friendly attitude towards co-workers and customers.
  • Have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to meet the truck at various events and locations
  • Ability to work in various conditions. (Environment is not climate controlled.)
  • Wear clean and proper uniform.
  • Have basic math skills
  • Be consistent, reliable, and punctual
  • At least 16 years of age
  • Previous experience in a food service or restaurant environment is preferred
  • Cell phone or internet access is required to access schedule and timeclock.
  • Position requires being able to work on your feet for several hours at a time.

Today, Wetzel's Pretzels has grown to more than 400 fresh bakeries and food trucks across the United States and around the world, including premier locations at Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort.

We were the first Wetzel's Pretzels mobile bakery (aka food truck) on the East Coast (there are now five). We operate all year, as long as the weather allows. Here in Maryland, that varies all the time. We are an actual bakery and have a commercial kitchen on the truck. We use a commercial mixer and fresh ingredients to make our own dough. We let the dough rise, then handroll and twist our pretzels, baking them consistently throughout the day.
