Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging BVO-YOU Curriculum (R.E.A.L Essentials) to middle and high school students.
- Utilize creative methods to enhance sessions, fostering an inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with the team to implement Prevention Education Program in various settings. As we go upstream to get closer to our youth before they find themselves in situations that they can't control.
- Act as a representative of OTO, making announcements and reporting student feedback for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Ability to think outside the box and adapt to creative teaching methods.
- Strong communication and presentation skills to connect with diverse audiences.
- 1-2+ years of teaching experience in expanded learning programs, working/volunteering with youth, etc.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.
- Reliable transportation for travel to different school sites (100% travel required).
- Availability to work between 8-20 hours weekly, this is a part-time, seasonal position we work when the schools do.
Benefits:
- Competitive hourly salary: $24.00 - $33.00 per hour.
- Flexible part-time, seasonal schedule with hours determined by school assignments.
- 3-hour rate per cohort to ensure ample time before and after.
- Mileage reimbursement for travel outside of school sites.
